How To Use

The scripture citations can be clicked to read them in the side panel (this feature is not yet active in all chapters; javascript must be enabled). The panel is resizable, so you can collapse it down to almost nothing if you wish, or widen it for a better view of longer passages.

The navigation aids on this site make it easy to peruse in any order, but when you begin reading in earnest, start at the beginning and work through in chapter order. Each chapter is written with the assumption that points made earlier are familiar to you.

The toolbar above the chapter title allows you to go directly to subheadings, change the page background color, take review tests, and move through the book. Some chapters have a few footnotes. To read one, touch its "anchor" (an asterisk or superscript link). To dismiss it, simply click on it. If you have javascript disabled, much of the site will still work (awkwardly), but you may have to right-click and "view source" to read the footnotes.

Sometimes I rework the code as I learn javascript better. If something doesn't work right that did work on a previous visit, either I have goofed and not tested thoroughly, or your browser is working with an older copy, cached on your machine, that is incompatible with the new code. In that case, just refresh the page. If that doesn't help, refresh the frame instead (in Firefox, right-click on the frame, do not click "Reload", instead go down to "This Frame" and select "Reload this frame".) This refreshes the script file(s) and will get things back to normal.

This site is constantly improving, albeit not as often as I'd like. Some updates are minor, such as improved code and corrected spelling or grammar. Others are substantial, such as whole sections added or revised, and pictures inserted or changed. Chapters 11 - 14 are unfinished, so check the Update Log occasionally for announcements.
